What beautiful and sweet nieces we have. This is of course not only the slightly biased opinion of a proud aunt, it was confirmed by the couple that own the vegetable stall where magic beans are sold.The owners love kids. And kids love them. So last weekend when the two girls stayed with us, we went to the stall. I don't know who was more enchanted, the owners or my nieces. Dana and Julia were admired and then given some strawberries. Dana was particularly impressed by their names: Auntie Apple and Granddad Pear. She wanted to know whether they were really called that. They had their names embroidered on towels, so it had to be true!
The strawberries were a success and the pots of yoghurt later also went down a treat. Especially Julia liked it, ademant to enjoy every single drop of the dessert. And what better tool than your hand to get the last bit out of the pot?
