
It's more the form of the kitchen than anything. We're starting to lean towards the idea of the wall since it offers quite a few practical advantages to the previous ideas that we had.

As can be seen from the picture above, there's space for fitting lighting and electrical points on the kitchen side of the wall and it feels a little more enclosed.

Like I said, it's more the form of the kitchen than the style; I'm not a huge fan of the mosaic tiling. However, we saw this riveted aluminium finish and we both like copper too, although this may prove to be a bit expensive!
We also discovered the M-System at Kookpunt for the kitchen units. We like the way that they don't look fitted and that it should be simple enough to fit them into a custom made "space". They also look quite industrial, but should still turn out to be far cheaper than getting an off the shelf fitted kitchen. Just have to see if we can fit our own surface to them.
So things are progressing...
