"A life with love will have some thorns, but a life without love will have no roses," goes an anonymous saying. Jonny gave me the most gorgeous bunch of long stemmed red roses on Valentine's day. Stems so long in fact, like length was going out of fashion.
Not only do they smell sweet and make a lovely sight on our table, I love the meaning they carry. They are the definitive symbol for romantic sentiments, representing true love, stronger than thorns. How beautiful is that!
