It includes interviews with Tante Trix and with Alex Nathans (or little Dikkie Duinroos as he was known back then), as well as the grand daughters collecting the award on behalf of the family.
There's also footage of the pre-ceremony meal, with a large congregation of the Schuurman family from Canada and the Netherlands, as well as Alex's family that came over from Israel. If you look closely you can just about spot me and Flo in the background!
It was interesting to see a bit of Jewish culture first hand and an honour to be part of such an historical and rare event. Seeing so many of Flo's family and relatives together was a also real treat!

I am a brother of Alex, and I am very happy to see your blogg and see the movie.
As far as the ceremony is concerned:
To initiate the award giving from Yad Vashem, is the least we can do, to say thank you for those who risked their own families lives, in order to save our parents and their sons.
Also the family who hid me during those terrible times, were honored by Yad Vashem.
Dear Flo and Johnny,
Very well done. This give a good picture of the event. Like Lex said: the circle is closed.
