Flo's on the mend

I went to visit Flo again this evening and as I'd hoped, she was sat up, eating and drinking and on her way to a good recovery.

She was still feeling a little groggy and tired, but was much more alert and light hearted than straight after the operation.

She'd managed to speak to the gynecologist, who told her that she'd removed the endometriosis from her left ovary. She said that the endometriosis was bleeding, which was probably why it had been so painful during her current period. Apparently, Flo also had some endometriosis attached to her uterus (which was also removed) and there are some adhesions indicating that the problem had been occurring for some time.

I'm back in to see Flo tomorrow morning, hopefully to bring her home at around 11:00.
