Kitchen ordered

Yesterday we placed an order for our new kitchen. It's going to be a refurbished/restored original 1950's kitchen, made by the factory that manufactured Spitfire fighter planes during the 2nd World War.

As you can see in the picture above, the kitchen is made from alluminium, based on the alluminium forming skills that the factory developed during the manufacture of the planes. This kitchen was the first of it's kind to utilise a modular unit kitchen design.

We just need to decide on a colour, but rest assured it won't be pink as in the picture above, but rather a colour that fits into the pallette that Flo has chosen for the house.

Just need to figure out how we are going to get the kitchen over to the Netherlands once it has been put together (since it's made in the UK), but the supplier seems quite excited by the prospect of a jollie over to continent.
